“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” -Mark Twain
Here are a few pictures from our New Years Eve/Day Celebration! Enjoy!
New Year's Eve consisted of great company, sparkly hats and decorations, resolutions, traditional feast of pork, collard greens and black-eyed peas, kisses, champagne, and a very competitive game of pictionary.
On New Year's Day, the family gathered for our annual Oyster Roast. Jack brought his homemade vinegar concoction-which by the way was A-mazing! This was the perfect way to start of the New Year! I think I'm gonna like 2012!

Many people make New Year's resolutions that are easily broken. Instead of making shallow or superficial resolutions for this New Year, I wanted to make deeper more meaningful resolutions-you know, the ones that make you feel warm inside and good about yourself. This way I wont feel defeated by an uncomplished goal. My New Year's resolutions came straight from a song called "Love like Crazy" by Lee Brice.
(1) Be a best friend
(2) Tell the truth
(3) And overuse "I love you"
(4) Go to work and do your best
(5) Don't outsmart your common sense
(6) Never let your prayin' knees get lazy
(7) And love like crazy
(3) And overuse "I love you"
(4) Go to work and do your best
(5) Don't outsmart your common sense
(6) Never let your prayin' knees get lazy
(7) And love like crazy
So far, so good!
There are not enough pictures of me in this blog.
